- Drive Mode (Virtual Joystick): Owners can take direct control of the chase using a real-time virtual joystick on their phone. This allows you to steer, dodge, and react to your dog’s sudden sprints rather than simply watching from the sidelines.
- Auto Mode (Smart Responses): For busy moments, Auto Mode triggers built-in movement routines and touch-based reactions, letting the bone move unpredictably on its own while you supervise. Notably, if the phone disconnects from Bluetooth during Auto Mode, the toy continues running without requiring an immediate reconnect.
To make indoor play practical, the device includes built-in sound effects along with a dedicated “Find Device” feature in the app, which prompts an audible alert to locate the toy if it gets knocked under couches or low furniture.

Modular E-TPU Shell and Lighter Hardware
Cheerble addressed long-term durability and household noise with a completely overhauled physical design:
- Replaceable Outer Shell: Instead of replacing the entire device once chewed or scuffed, the modular outer E-TPU cover unclips easily. Pet owners can swap out worn exterior shells independently while keeping the internal motorized core intact.
- Impact & Noise Absorption: The E-TPU material is specifically engineered to cushion impacts and eliminate noisy clattering across hardwood or tile floors.
- Lighter Footprint: Tipping the scales at 8.7 oz (246 g), the Wickedbone Air is 54 grams lighter than the original unit, making it easier for smaller and medium breeds to grab.
- Streamlined Charging: A recessed charging port eliminates the easily misplaced removable cap found on the first generation.
Upgraded Range and Connectivity
Connectivity sees a notable jump, with local Bluetooth coverage expanded to a rated 20 to 50 meters (compared to under 20 meters on the predecessor). This added headroom provides consistent joystick responsiveness across larger living rooms and open backyard spaces.
